Learn how to set up Lifesight's real-time footfall measurement solution on The Trade Desk.

Prerequisites:
To activate Lifesight’s Footfall Measurement on The Trade Desk, you’ll need:

The Trade Desk advertiser ID

Campaign flight dates

An estimated impression volume

A list of target locations

Lifesight will perform a feasibility check with your provided locations to confirm if the volume meets the requirements.

Setting Up Footfall Measurement on The Trade Desk:


1. Share Key Information:

Contact your Lifesight account manager and provide the Trade Desk advertiser ID, campaign dates, estimated impressions, and target locations.

2. Feasibility Check and Tag Creation:

Lifesight will verify location feasibility based on volume requirements. Once confirmed, Lifesight will initiate the tag creation process within The Trade Desk platform.


3. Configure Conversions:

Set up third-party conversions on The Trade Desk platform. After tag creation, access the Lifesight card under “Measurement Integrations” to view the list of offline attribution tags managed by Lifesight.

Reporting on The Trade Desk: Navigate to the "Measurement Integrations" tab under your advertiser account to view and analyze the data Lifesight provides.

Access Lifesight Attribution Reports on The Trade Desk

To view and analyze the attribution data from Lifesight, follow these steps:


1. Go to Campaign Details Page

  • In the Campaign Details section of TTD, add an additional reporting column.

  • Select the offline measurement tag created for your campaign from the dropdown list to ensure the data is properly attributed.

2. Cross-Device Attribution Setup

  • Select a cross-device vendor for attribution from the dropdown (e.g., Identity Alliance).

  • This cross-device vendor selection allows you to track users across different devices, enabling Lifesight to provide a more comprehensive view of where and when media was served to specific users.

  • Track Offline Data with Detailed Reports

3. Lifesight’s reporting interface in TTD offers intuitive offline data tracking, including:

Site and Site Category, Supply Vendor, Ad Group, Time of Day, Day of Week, Device Type, Frequency

4. Report Types Available

  • Conversion Details Report (in TSV/CSV format) provides in-depth information on each conversion event.

  • Initial Insights Combined Pivot (Excel format) helps analyze aggregated data to extract insights.

  • Path to Conversion (TSV/CSV format) shows the journey taken by users leading up to conversion, including all touchpoints.

By following these steps, you’ll be able to comprehensively track and analyze your offline data within The Trade Desk, gaining valuable insights into the effectiveness of your media campaigns.
